That’s exactly what Huib van der Hart has done, and both creations are amazing—all the more so when joined together.
In the video above, the pneumatic Lego V-8 runs at high rpm, revving through its range with ease and precision. In the video below, the engine runs at constant speed, illustrating the various gears of van der Hart’s sequential gearbox build (which also features neutral and reverse gears).
