AppoinTile for Windows Phone 8 updated and goes on sale in celebration

AppoinTile is a Windows Phone 8 calendar app that lets you replace the native Windows Phone calendar app tile with a customizable Live Tile. A tile that is designed to place more information on your daily agenda on your Start Screen.

AppoinTile was recently updated to version 2.2.2 that adds the customary performance tweaks as well as adding a search function and Facebook integration. The app has also gone on sale with the price dropping to $1.99.

AppoinTile still pulls appointments from your Windows Live calendar but with the update you can pull appointments in from your Facebook calendar.

The Facebook integration and search function adds a healthy list of existing features that includes appointment filtering, email integration, mapping, customizable front and back Live Tiles, late arrival messaging, and more.

If you want a little more meat on your calendar Live Tile, AppoinTile is worth checking out. There is an ad-supported, ten day trial version with the full version of AppoinTile running at the sale price of $1.99 (regularly $2.49).
