DEAL ALERT: Amazing Weather HD 50% off

The makers of Amazing Weather HD, the weather app that beams stunning pictures to your lockscreen, are celebrating this year's Nokia World event by slashing its price in half. For the duration of Nokia World 2013 in Abu Dhabi, the self-proclaimed "only app in full Arabic," will be dropped from its regular price of $1.99 to just 99 cents.

Since being updated to version 4.2 back in May, not only does Amazing Weather HD offer an appealing mix of weather-related photos to rotate across your lockscreen, but it also lets you use Bing's Daily Images, or even choose your own photos to use.

The developers are good about putting out updates to boost performance, fix bugs, and add new features, including different language support. It's a truly great app and one of our favorites.  EizSoft does offer a free trial for Amazing Weather HD but for just $.99, you should really just treat yourself and get the full version here.
