Study: three-dimensional printing market of 3.8 billion dollars in 2014

Study predicted increased the value of three-dimensional printing market significantly from the beginning of
2014 the current , that up to an unprecedented level with the end of 2018.

The study , carried out by the company Canalysis, that the three-dimensional printing market will rise with the end of 2014 to reach 3.8 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 1.3 billion dollars compared to last year .

The study showed that the volume of sales of printers intended for three-dimensional printing will reach 1.3 billion U.S. dollars by the end of this year , that the volume of sales of services and raw materials needed for those types of print to 2.5 billion dollars .

The study added that the volume of three-dimensional printing market will reach a record in 2018 when the U.S. $ 16.2 billion , to be spent 10.8 billion dollars of this amount only to services and raw materials needed for printing.

The company justified the Canalysis increase in the volume of three-dimensional printing market to the entry of big companies in the area such as " HP " as the company expected entry of other large companies in the market over the next few years.

The company " HP " had announced last March its intention to announce the first " great technique " of development in the field of three-dimensional printing during the month of June , to be that technology serves as a gateway to enter this market .

It is expected to contribute to the new technology , as " HP " , in solving the most difficult problems facing the three-dimensional printing technology at the moment , and are very slow in the printing process , and the low quality of the final product .

The company " Gartner " research had predicted in an earlier report that the three-dimensional printing technology will have a significant impact on industries , especially manufacturing , consumer products , and they will spread among users in the coming years with low prices printing devices .

It should be noted that " Gartner " I expected as well as in another report that coincides with the significant progress in this technique to produce tissues and organs controversy about the ethical aspect of this use by 2016 , but that will not prevent the booming use of this technique for the production of members of non-living such as prosthetics , especially with the increasing population and the modest level of health care in emerging countries .
