Microsoft makes fun of Kinect for Windows hardware v2

After shipping out its Kinect for Windows v2 Developer Preview kits in December last year, Microsoft has
finally revealed the final hardware design of Kinect for Windows v2. The hardware resembles the Kinect for Xbox One but the underlying difference is that this new box has the words “Kinect” printed on the top panel. In place of the Xbox Nexus styled green “x” we find a simple power indicator.

Other than the main Kinect for Windows v2 sensor, there are also other essential components - including a hub and power supply unit. The hub connects to the main sensor unit, power supply, as well as your PC via a USB 3.0 port. The power cables will be different according to the country that they are being shipped to, but the power supply can support voltages from 100–240 volts.
