Meet Leica XE, which is within the reach of almost everyone, compact APS-C

Leica, Leica XE, X-ELeica just released an update for the camera focus of X2 and shoot here at Photokina. And XE has a look and feel that is very similar to its predecessor, and with similar specifications. APS-C 16.5 megapixel that such a model X also announced today, and can capture images with a level of quality that rivals that of many digital SLR sensor.

What you can not do, unfortunately, is to swap in a different light - and it 24mm / 2.8 visual permanently attached, which is what you'd expect given the light weight and small size, but if you need to get closer to your subject, you will need to walk to the front rather than up.

As is the case with all APS-C sensors, the XE has a 1.5X crop factor, making it the visual equivalent of 24MM 35mm lens on a full frame camera. There is a -230 point K (low resolution) 2.7-inch LCD, and put 5 fps continuous shooting and ISO speed exceeds 12 500 and XE has not, however, shoot video mode, which is very disappointing considering the price. In Europe, € 1,490 or $ 1,795 in the United States, you may be better off spending the extra grand for Sony full-frame RX1, but if Leica in what you're after, this is a good option. And XE is now available through select retailers.
